What is Pickleball

Social Pickleball

Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, with 26-40 round holes, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports: the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules somewhat similar to tennis, with several modifications

We have social Pickleball at the following times:

Mondays 7.15pm: Doubles Social Team Competition

Wednesdays: 10.30am: Come and Try/Social Session

Wednesdays 7.15pm: Doubles Social Team Competition

Thursdays 10.30am: Come and Try/Social Session

Thursdays 7pm: Come and Try/Social Session

Most Sundays 2pm - 4pm: Come and Try/Social Session

 

Monday and Wednesday Pickleball Competition

Starting Date for Spring Competition is Monday October  2024 and Wednesday October 16th 2024

The competition will be a Team Competition with teams made up of 4 players. It is sure to be lots of fun!

Mondays is aimed at the stronger/more experienced players with individual entries. These entries will then be graded and placed into teams in 2 grades -A Grade and A1 Grade. Wednesdays is better for beignners to intermediate players and differs from Monday night in that you can enter a team of 4 (or as many players that you have up to a maximum of 4) or as an individual and we will place you into a team.
