Junior Coaching for 2019
Junior coaching for 2018 will being the week of February 5th. We will have 2 different squads depending on player ability.
Advanced Coaching: Mondays 5.15 - 7pm: Advanced Coaching is available to juniors who play regular competition and have the potential to advance to the WestVic Academy of Sport Badminton Squad. Cost is $10 per session
Development Coaching: Mondays 4 - 5pm: Development coaching is available to juniors who are developing in the sport or have limited formal coaching. Cost is $5 per session

BallaRATSquad 2019
The BallaRATSquad, or the RATS, is our newest junior coaching initiative. The Ballarat Badminton Association has for many years been at the forefront of junior development in Badminton in Victoria. We are very keen to further develop our junior players by providing coaching and tournament experience for all.
Eligibility: Players must
- Be a financial member of the Ballarat Badminton Association
- Play in the Junior Pennant Competition on a Thursday night
- Be enthusiastic and keen to learn and compete in tournaments
- Be under 19 years of age

Free Coaching Clinics in May 2019
The Ballarat Badminton Association will once again be holding a 3 week Free Coaching Clinic for new and beginner players. The session will be held on a Friday and begin April 26th at 4pm - 5pm. Please complete the application form below and return to the stadium by Thursday 25th April 2019.

2019 Free Primary School Clinics
In 2019, the Ballarat Badminton Association will once again be offering our Free Primary School Badminton Clinics. All schools in the Ballarat area have the opportunity to take up this offer, on a first in, first served basis.
The clinic is designed to introduce the game to students and teachers, and teachers will be also introduced to the new International Schools Program, the BWF "Shuttle Time" program. To register your school's interest, please download the form below and return to the stadium.
